Why We Built This Site
Locating a Hinds County docket often begins with a court-name question, not a case-number question. Circuit Court, the county's general trial court, and County Court share the Circuit Clerk's record structure, while Chancery Court uses a separate clerk and Fifth Chancery MEC lane. Justice Court and city courts use still other local channels. Mississippi's public-record policy supports access to public records, but judicial records also follow court rules and access limits. The practical task is matching the case to the office that can verify its docket, setting, or original document.
What You Will Find Here

- Hearing information: the Court Schedule channels used to confirm a setting or court date

- Original-record sources: the clerk and court contacts described under Court Case Records
What We Cannot Do
Hinds County Court Docket is privately operated and is not a court, clerk office, or Mississippi agency. Official action stays with the court and the custodian of the case file.
- We cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file
- We cannot alter, reset, or reschedule a court date
- We cannot seal, remove, or amend a court record
- We cannot issue a certified copy of a docket, order, or judgment
- We cannot provide legal advice about a particular matter
- We cannot assure that a fee, phone number, or setting remains current
Only the clerk or court that maintains a Hinds County case can confirm its official docket or provide a certified court record. A docket entry should be verified with that custodian.
Search Partners
Some pages use search boxes operated by third-party providers. Those providers establish their own service terms, prices, result displays, and privacy practices. A paid sign-up through a partner may produce a referral fee for the private operator. That arrangement does not make the private operator the custodian of a Hinds County court record, and it does not control the official MEC/PAMEC or clerk-access process.
